La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures present the world premiere release of acclaimed composer Nile Rogers’ original motion picture score to the 1994 feature film BEVERLY HILLS COP III, starring Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold and directed by John Landis.
This second sequel in the legendary BEVERLY HILLS COP franchise would mark Eddie Muprhy’s third turn as the iconic Axel Foley while bringing on a new composer to the series, the acclaimed Nile Rodgers (COMING TO AMERICA). Rodgers honors the classic Axel F Harold Faltermeyer themes in fine fashion, giving them a whole new orchestral and rhythmic spin with his bold and inventive approach to the film’s score. This is big, orchestra-centric and exciting 90’s era action film music – a revelation as presented in this long-overdue release.
Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this special CD release is limited to 1500 units and, along with the film’s score presentation, features additional material, including Wonderland Theme Park music and demos! The exclusive, in-depth liner notes are by author Jeff Bond and feature new comments from composer Nile Rodgers and director John Landis. The art design is by Dan Goldwasser.
