Giulio Stracciati - Eito

In my opinion, the main issue of Giulio Stracciati’s performance in this CD, is musicality. As a matter of fact, due to this merit, the varied abilities shown by this guitar-player, produce a well-knit syhthesis and a very special atmosphere: personal use of the volume, refined dynamics, range of both touch and sonority, a jazzy relax of the phrasing, careful choice of the different kind of reverberation. Morover, if we consider the quality of the compositions (I’d stress on "Rodolon", "Demi Blues" and "Warm down") and the splendid performance of Paolino Dalla Porta and Francesco Petreni, the picture’s completed: it’s very good music to be carefully enjoyed - Franco D’Andrea
