Beat Records Company is a dynamic and independent Italian publishing group, active for more than 40 years in promotion, publishing, and production mainly of Italian Motion Picture Soundtracks, Jazz, Orchestral Music, Synchronizations, Classical Music.
Also, thanks to the lifetime activity of the administrator Franco De Gemini in the professional venue of cinema (he is the "Man With The Harmonica" heard in Sergio Leone’s epic westerns, and instrumental soloist in hundreds film scores), Beat Records Company administrates and distributes world-wide a discography including original compositions by Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Roberto Pregadio, Bruno Nicolai, Carlo Rustichelli, Francesco De Masi, Nico Fidenco, Piero Piccioni, Riz Ortolani, Carlo Savina, Franco Micalizzi, Franco Mannino, and many others.
Beat Records is also heavily involved in the organization of various cultural events and concerts, and is open to any new artistic concept or contribution by musicians, directors, and artists in general. Among the directors who have collaborated with Beat Records are; Luchino Visconti, Lina Wertmuller, Dino Risi, Mario Monicelli, Pupi Avati, Enzo G. Castellari, Marino Girolami, Umberto Lenzi, Sergio Sollima.
In more recent times the discographic production made possible the release and distributions of dozens albums that absolute cult directors such as Cohen Bros or Quentitn Tarantino utilized for their movies.
In that way our music were selected for many Hollywood blockbusters such as The Big Lebowski, Death Proof, Django Unchained, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and so on.
At the moment Beat Records Company is run by the popular harmonica player’s two sons, Daniele and Enrico, who administrate a direct catalogue of thousands original compositions and soundtracks, in this publishing group are also present a lot of independent catalogue who gave promotion of their music to Beat Records Company.
