Armando Bertozzi - Mwezi

I’m very happy that this CD is being released in a moment so difficoult for the entire world. I believe music has always had the power of binding together people belonging to different breeds and credo. I’d like to think that the happiness of gathering around a drum be the starting point for bringing back what we lost in these past recent years, diverted by useless projects which achieved only to weaken our brains. Tha name MWEZI (MOON in English) takes after a population from West Africa, the Nyamwesi, which still leave keeping the ancient characteristics of the black culture.
