Susanna Bertuccioli has been graduated at the Conservatory "G.Rossini" of Pesaro under the direction of B. Monteverde. She won a grant at the "Curtis Institute" of Philadelphia, where she improved her tecnique with Marilin Costello. Then she goes to Bucarest to study with Ivan Roncea. She won soloist competitions such as "Salvi" and "Petrini Zamboni". She has been first harp in the "European Community Orchestra" and, since 1985, she is the first harp soloist in the "Maggio Musicale Fiorentino" Orchestra. During her career, she played with conductor such as C. Abbado, R. Muti, G. Solti, E. Mata, W. Sawallish, G. Sinopoli, S. Bychkov, however her most important collaboration has been with Maestro Zubin Mehta.
