Rosso come il cielo is a 2007 film directed by Cristiano Bortone drawn from the true story of Mirco Mencacci, although not blind, he became one of the most famous sound editors in Italian cinema. Music by Ezio Bosso, bassist, composer and conductor, who also wrote the music for Io non ho paura of Gabriele Salvatores and one of the best writers of film music of recent years. Bosso's music, full of creativity and emotional strength, can take us to a magical world, an ancient tale told expertly by Bortone. Rosso come il cielo is one of the 30 titles from the Sugar’s collection dedicated to the soundtracks that have made the history of film music. The collection will be released on March 13rd in a completely remastered version and with a new look edition. All the title of the series have been enriched with a text by Marco Muller, movie producer, critic and director of the most important film festival.
