Cinquanta anni dopo il suo debutto televisivo, Thunderbirds viene riportato in programma dalla ITV utilizzando una combinazione CGI e live acrion. Nonostante il nuovo look high-tech la produzione ha mantenuto tutte le qualità che hanno reso la serie originale un successo mondiale. Personaggi forti e grandi storie d'avventura. Le trame incentrate attorno ai fratelli Tracy è giusto che un altro team di fratelli, Ben e Nick Foster scrivessero le musiche seguendo le orme dell'originale e prolifico compositore Barry Gray, utilizzando un' orchestra sinfonica, aggiungendo tocchi moderni per portare il suono a un livello aggiornato ma mantenendo l'aspetto dell'originale.
