Hubertiade

’Hubertiade’, the title of this CD does not mean in any way conceitedness nor narcisism on my part. To tell the truth, it was given to me on the indication of a musician, a dear friend of mine, who having in front  of him a series of pieces concieved in different ways, thought of the title. As a matter of fact each composition in this CD is linked to emotional moments lived at different periods in my life. Therefore the "Triptico Argentino", which includes the Malambo, from Argentina towards Italy, the moment in which I was roused in a particular way on hearing the folk music of my homeland. This Triptico, which is closer to the Sonata than the Suite, seeing that the second piece is a sythesized Sonata.  (Eduardo Hubert)
