CONTAINS 3 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED TRACKS PLOT Richard Martin, a skilled gunman, clashes with his rival, Billy Kane. Billy paralyzes the opponent's hands with gunshot wounds. Determined to avenge himself, Richard sets out in search of a young man to teach him the art of the perfect gunman in order to use him to kill Billy Kane. Soon Richard finds the right man in Ricky Shot, a young man who learns to shoot perfectly. But at the moment to implement the revenge, Ricky does not kill Billy because he discovered that only Billy could clear him from an unjust accusation, for which he has been sentenced to prison. Deeply disappointed, Richard prepares to face Billy himself, who, eventually, kill Richard with ruthless coldness. In front of the corpse of Richard, Ricky feels duty-bound to avenge of his friend and master. In a dramatic duel, Ricky, knowing he will lose the only witness who can save him from jail, manages to kill Billy. Critics - Italian Press Review Master Egisto Macchi composed an excellent score that gives to the scenes the phatos, which is lacking most of the times in the interpretation. The music is overwhelming, and excites commotion in the audience. With the help of this cool music, the breathtaking succession of scenes and the compelling story make the viewers to forget they are just watching a fiction, and not a true story. The story, after all, was not bad, but then it spoils itself by sinking in a sea of banality, as the film progresses, by losing any originality and interest, especially for the Director lack of firm directing grip. (P. Pillitteri, "Avanti!, July 1968). Critics - Foreign Press Review Bandidos is the story of a great revenge and action-packed from the very start. In the opening scene, the evil gunman who clashes with the man who taught him how to shoot is very dramatic and moving. After firing into the hands of his former friend, then he mocks him telling him to hold a gun in his hands and try to take revenge. The story follows this vein throughout the film and the viewers follow it to the end. There are all the elements typical of great western movies. There is a cool music score, an involving story, plenty of suspense shootings, several great one-liners, and everything is done over-the-top like a good western movie should be. This film was done with style and that style is the reason why there is much more fun to watch the Italian western movies than those produced in the United States. The camera worked very hard in this movie. The interesting angles of the shots, made more or less in the same way of the close-ups of Sergio Leone in his western films, gives to this film an outstanding feature. When watching a western genre film, my favorite scenes are those taking place inside saloons. Here I saw one scene particularly funny, in which a man, deadly wounded in a gunshot, sitting at table waiting to die, and while drinking he troublesome customers and the local girls. The old lady, owner of the saloon, intervenes and tells him to leave in peace people and to hurry up to die. The man, who does not want to go to hell alone, decides to shoot one of the girls to take her with him.
