Music Box Records presenta una selezione di 3 CD di The Saint del 1989 composta da Serge Franklin . Caratterizzato dal carattere classico di Simon Templar, originariamente scritto da Leslie Charteris, The Saint ha avuto una lunga storia di apparizioni sui libri, radio e televisione, tra cui lo spettacolo definitivo interpretato da Roger Moore. L'attore britannico Simon Dutton in sei film, ha portato il suo personaggio in tutto il mondo, tra cui Gran Bretagna, Francia, Germania e Australia. Il compositore Serge Frankl8in è stato ingaggiato per scrivere la colonna sonora e lui offre tre entusiasmanti punteggi d'azione, tenute insieme da un tema principale infettivo a base sax che enfatizza il nuovo stile di vita di Simon. I tre episodi hanno ciascuno il proprio sapore speciale. Viene presentato anche il tema di Leslie Charteris, che è presente in tutte le incarnazioni precedenti ed è stato chiesto espressamente dall'autore. La richiesta era così gentile che il compositore non poteva rifiutare. La selezione comprende tre episodi completi: The Brazilian Connection, The Blue Dulac e The Big Bang.
