Sergio Montori was born in Rome where he studied composition at the conservatory of Santa Cecilia. He completed his strict musical training under de guidance of Alfredo De Ninno, Giuseppe Rosati, Ezio Carabella, Mario Rinaldi and others, sparing no effort to consolidate an already solid education. Restless and dynamic by nature, he has experimented in many directions and become familiar with every type of music media, namely films, television, concerts, radio and records. With his deep awareness of today’s social issues, his work has always reflected cultural and human experiences. His style is modern but not hermetic which makes his vision of the world easily comprehensible. Lamberto Desideri "...A strong musical logic, an ever-lasting search for tone-colours, remarkable instrumental means: it won’t surprise us, with these gifts, he succedes in his goal which is ’to breath music’. We’d grateful to him". With these words, the celebrated pianist Aldo Ciccolini wishes to introduce Lamberto Desideri, his pupil for several years. Lamberto Desideri, Whose vast piano-repertoire includes works by writers with great melodic sensitivity such as Chopin and Rachmaninoff, approaches Sergio Montori’s music with great easyness and enthusiasm: its language so expressive and full of tension, builds an atmosphere which suits him perfectly.<br>
