Quartetto di sassofoni di Perugia

The quartetto di Sassofoni di Perugia was founded in 1988. Its members have played in major orchestras in Italy including the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra in Milan, the A. Scarlatti Orchestra in Naples, the Orchestra Regionale Toscana, the Maggio Musicale FIorentino Orchestra of Florence, and the RAI Symphonic Orchestra of Turin. They have also recorded concerts for the Italian RAI. Their originality and excellent musical training have enabled them to perform in many successeful concerts both in Italy and abroad. The Quartetto also partecipated in the 15th, 16th, and 17th "Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano" (the international Art Studio of Montepulciano), at the 10th World Saxophone Congress, and won the first prize at the "Riviera della Versilia" in 1993, which is the third such National Competition.
